Introduction
POM plastic material (polyformaldehyde resin) is a linear polymer
with no side chains, high density and high crystallizability.
According to the different chemical structure of its molecular
chain, it can be divided into two kinds: homopolymer and copolymer.
The important difference between the two is that the density,
crystallinity, melting point are high, but the thermal stability is
poor, the processing temperature range is narrow (about 10℃), the
acid and base stability is slightly lower; And copolymer
formaldehyde density, crystallinity, melting point, strength are
low, but good thermal stability, not easy to decompose, processing
temperature range is wide (about 50℃), acid and base stability is
good. It is an engineering plastic with excellent comprehensive
properties. Good physical, mechanical and chemical properties,
especially excellent resistance to friction. Commonly known as race
steel or seize steel, for the third general plastic. Suitable for
the production of wear - reducing parts, transmission parts,
chemical, instrument and other parts.
